About iciaiw
ICIAIW (I Can, I Am, and I Will) is a Community Interest Company delivering creative wellbeing programmes that place reflection, identity and community at the centre of everyday life.
We work with young people, creatives and communities under pressure to build confidence, resilience and a sense of agency through accessible reflection tools and creative engagement.
Our approach is preventative, inclusive and grounded in lived experience.
Our Purpose
ICIAIW exists to address the growing need for early-intervention wellbeing support, particularly for individuals and communities navigating stress, transition, exclusion or reduced access to creative opportunity.
We believe that reflection is a practical skill — one that strengthens emotional literacy, self-belief and decision-making. When people are given time, structure and permission to reflect, outcomes improve across wellbeing, engagement and participation.
Our Work
ICIAIW delivers structured programmes and creative experiences that combine:
Guided reflection and journaling
Creative expression and storytelling
Group dialogue and facilitated workshops
Community-based engagement
Our work operates across education, creative industries and community settings, supporting participants to pause, process and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Programmes are adaptable for:
Schools and youth settings
Creative practitioners and freelancers
Community organisations and partnerships
Who We Support
ICIAIW prioritises:
Young people and emerging adults
Creatives and cultural workers
Individuals experiencing change, pressure or disconnection
Underrepresented and marginalised voices
We are committed to inclusive practice and removing barriers to participation.
Social Impact
Our programmes are designed to:
Improve emotional awareness and self-confidence
Support wellbeing and resilience
Encourage creative engagement and self-expression
Strengthen connection and community
Impact is embedded through reflective practice, feedback and evaluation, with learning used to inform programme development and partnerships.
Governance & Structure
ICIAIW is a Community Interest Company (CIC) by guarantee.
This ensures:
Public benefit is central to all activity
Any surplus is reinvested into community impact
Transparent governance and accountability
The organisation is guided by a board of creatives, educators and advocates with experience across culture, wellbeing and social impact.
Looking Ahead
ICIAIW is developing sustainable partnerships with schools, cultural organisations, funders and community stakeholders to expand access to creative wellbeing support.
Our ambition is to embed reflection and creativity into everyday spaces — supporting individuals not just to cope, but to thrive.
Reflection is not a pause from progress — it is how progress begins.
Founder’s Statement
ICIAIW was created from lived experience — from navigating pressure, change and survival within creative and working-class environments where wellbeing support was limited or absent.
As a creative practitioner working across hairdressing, education and community spaces, I have spent years listening to people in the chair, backstage and in workshops. A consistent pattern emerged: people rarely lack ambition or talent — they lack time, language and permission to reflect.
ICIAIW responds to that gap.
The organisation exists to make reflection a practical, accessible skill — embedded within creative practice, education and community life. Through structured reflection tools and facilitated creative engagement, ICIAIW supports individuals to build self-belief, emotional literacy and resilience.
My own journey has shaped the organisation’s values: people before profit, honesty over perfection, and creativity as a tool for connection and care. ICIAIW is intentionally designed to be inclusive, preventative and community-led.
As a Community Interest Company, ICIAIW ensures that any surplus is reinvested into public benefit, supporting long-term social impact rather than short-term outputs.
ICIAIW is not about fixing people.
It is about creating the conditions where people can pause, reflect and move forward with clarity and confidence.
This work is rooted in care, shaped by experience, and guided by community.
